Sketchbooks are integral to my working process and we are constantly told to share our ‘best’ and ‘final’ work but to me that doesn’t mean anything unless accompanied by how I got to that point. Other people’s sketchbooks have always been of great interest to me as an artistic object in their own right, you can tell a lot about a person by the sketchbook they use and how they document their designing, they are an insight into my world and my ways and most importantly how I developed over that period of time.
